Wedding Gif

It’s wedding season! I have attended two of four this year already (nobody die please!), which means I have been a) drinking far too much champagne, b) hanging out with lots of lovely people and c) trying to take lots of lovely photos. The above was crying out for an animated Gif, the Groom at wedding number 2 with the groom Paul, very excitedly hugging his guests after the beautiful wedding ceremony. Afterwards was a cute village fete reception with games, including a coconut shy, which I painfully fell into during a family tug or war. Ouch! But such a lovely day. Congratulations Paul and Lauren!

Mix tapes – valentine style

Christmas has not even passed and I am already thinking about the next marketable holiday… Valentines (pre-emptively vomits in mouth). There is only one reason for this crazy behavior… articles for the Pebble. I am writing a little ditty about how no-one shares their love of music via mix-tapes any more, so I am trying to reinforce the forgotten tradition by including some of my own favourite tunes with the word ‘love’ somewhere in the title. I need to try and whittle this down to 5, to keep in with High Fidelity. Any suggestions? The list so far is…

whats love got to do with it?

Apparently nothing… where sex is concerned for women anyway.

Browsing the online papers on a Monday morning came across a bit of a risque subject; why women have sex. According to Cindy Meston, a clinical Psychologist and a author of a book about the subject, there are exactly 237 reasons why. And love isn’t one of them. We are apparently a lot more manipulative in our reasons for choosing out sexual  partners, often looking for the benefits. Men it seem, have less reasons to do so, other than the obvious. They just wanna get laid.

I wish this analogy was so simple. Yes, we do have our reasons… but this article makes out there is always a background philosophy behind doing it. What about if women just enjoy it? I guess I goes along the reasoning of a release, but this article does not imply so. Particularly when the aparently happily married woman says that she “makes lists in her head” while making love to her husband. Nice.
